Shetland is a versatile workhorse spun more tightly on the spinning frames (higher turns per inch) so it is highly durable and will wear better and better every year. Don’t let the crunch fool you. It will soften over time and will become a favorite sweater or accessory.

Woolen spun here in the USA, this yarn is not made from Shetland Wool - rather, the name 'Shetland' refers to the size of the yarn and not the fiber content. The wool is a blend of an Australian fine wool and a hearty New Zealand wool that gives the yarn its luster.

Good for weaving, knitting, and crocheting. It fulls beautifully, softens nicely, and  is long wearing!
